addendum, addenda
An addendum is an addition, something added or to be added. The term is specifically applied to an appendix of or supplement to a book or other printed material. It should be used with a singular verb only: "This addendum is an important part of the report." The standard plural form is addenda, although addendums is being used more and more frequently by educated speakers and writers and most authorities no longer consider it incorrect.
